Alicante, analyzed five libraries (one University, a public State and municipal three). CONSUMER EROSKI technicians visited their facility in mid-December to assess the general State of each of these paragraphs of information, services, accessibility, security and cleaning. In addition, they asked through the steps to process the meat in order to know the functioning of the system of loan and consultation. The final evaluation of the service offered by the libraries visited in the Alicante capital deserved the suspense, obtained a regular, as did Zaragoza and Pamplona, which are placed at the tail of the qualifications. This note so poor is due to deficiencies in security, cleaning and maintenance, information and services, paragraphs qualified with a regular that contrasts with the only good note (a very good) accomplished in matters of accessibility.
Rooms of reading, video library and fonoteca were in four of the five centres analysed in Alicante. Three had study halls and in only two they had video and audio posts (and one of them were damaged), spaces for Internet, wifi, auto-prestamo points and group rooms area. Among other deficiencies, it was found that in three of the five analyzed libraries did not have service of fotocopisteria and also not lockers in any were. In addition, only two have an uninterrupted schedule of morning and afternoon, and only one open on Saturday. The evident lack of benefits in some libraries Alicante motivated the average regular grade, however, one of the aspects that most influenced the note was in three of the five facilities visited there was no available ordenadores-catalogo that users seek out the material in which it was interested (this, employees were responsible). That Yes, all analyzed centres provided books, CDs and DVDs, (in one of them, even magazines). Users could take home once four materials (at the University level, eight, and the public of the) State, twelve) for a period of two weeks.
